Gotta love the retro style horror movie vibes in this one! My only gripe was the air hockey mini game. Idk if it's designed to not be able to win cause I tried so many times. But all in all pretty solid game! 👍
I can testify it can be actually beaten, but it takes a lot of practice because Daniela is very very strong. The secret is to hit the disk not too hard, and to point at the center, towards her, not to the sides, because the trajectory becomes too unpredictable otherwise. Also, staying forward, near the center of the table, helps too, because you can maneuver faster. Eventually she'll make a mistake if you manage to resist long enough.
Played this game on stream tonight and it was really fun, and really funny! doing head canon voices was a riot! I think a bit more couldve gone into the ending, maybe a little more time with each character, but otherwise a super fun time!

Had my eye on this game for a while and man was it amazing! Some great story telling and environment design. I love the old arcade aesthetic that you used. Overall, a really great game I can't wait to see what you make next!
That was quite the experience. I like the unique character textures, and the Stellarcade design. The color scheme and decor were spot on for laser tag and arcade places I went to when I was younger. Gameplay was smooth and I liked the story. My only qualm was the sudden QTE at the end. You definitely captured the essence of the 80's horror.
I look forward to what you do next.

Death by Laser...
I loved the aesthetic of this game - from the 80's style character band of misfits (the nerd, the tough guy, the level-headed one etc) to the story itself, there were certainly a lot of mechanics at play, from a Papers Please aspect, to whack-a-mole and the infamous Laser Tag - this made me feel like I was watching an 80's slasher exploitation film.One question: are there different outcomes dependant on how you play certain games? Can certain characters survive if you (for example: win the airhockey mini-game, win all the rounds of laser tag, etc?) Kinda felt like I got the bad ending on my playthrough, but maybe that's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes...
Looking forward to Lucas getting revenge in the sequel. Because we know the bad guy always comes back, right?

We were aiming for an '80s style and making the game cinematic, just like the movies. It's truly rewarding that you think it looks similar.
Actually, there are only two endings in this game. It is our first "ambitious" project; we’ve never had this variety of systems and mechanics before. We’ve learned a lot, and we’ll take feedback to improve in our future games and keep evolving.
As for a sequel, it's not in our plans right now, but that could change at any moment. We will probably make some changes to this game and update it with more content and gameplay, so stay tuned to our Discord server!

Full Play NO Commentary
I'm ever so slightly disappointed I didn't get to see the arcade itself on the demo (cause it looks amazing on those screenshots) but I really liked it. Love the commitment to the retro aesthetic, specially with that intro sequence and, while the demo itself isn't scary, it does a good job of setting the tone for the full game. Bonus points for the story being in Brazil, we don't get enough representation in games in my opinion. Your game is the second one on my video and starts at 6:31 (and at 20:01 you can see my cat being chaotic)
Adore the style/graphics in this one! Definitely an intriguing intro to the game.
